Mantas Vaškelaitis: Kudirka’s square part

    Mantas at the spot

Skating one and the same spot all the time can generate new ideas. If you are at a spot for one day you might not notice all the lines or possibilities that locals see. Locals know their spots inside out; they see hidden obstacles and have lines visitors might not figure out at first. You got to spend some time skating a spot to film something worthy there. And spot centered videos challenge skaters to be original at the same old plazas. Like for example the London’s Atlantic Drift crew at St. Paul’s CathedralBobby Worrest at Pulaski, or Mike Arnold at Lloyds. All of these videos thrive creativity as well as keep these places energised. read more

While the whole skate world was shaken by Dime Glory Challenge, the Baltic skate community was shaken poked by Rajon Around The Block 2018 skate contest. It was all pretty much directed by the Mastermind Fricis Štrauss, the guys with all the good ideas. It was wild day, big s/o to all of the skaters and of course Fricis and also Deda for making all of the enders that day. read more

Video Premiere: PERNOVA 2

Pernova 2 is a new video straight from Parnu, Estonia. Featuring local rippers skating local spots. Guys skate it all: plazas, which are surprisingly really considering Parnu is a small city; shitty spots, which are pretty obvious for a small city; and even the boarwalks on the beach, which prove that creativity thrieves in Parnu. The city of Parnu is not a big, however, the scene there is live and kicking with roomies Meelis Erm and Mikk Eeskivi keeping it exciting and funky. If you ever in Parnu hit these guys up and go skate with them. For now let’s enjoy the video. read more
