Both of the most beloved DIY indoor spots in Riga capture the winter atmosphere perfectly. They’re dark, cold, and underground. We’re talking about Gtiim and Isolator, of course. These two indoor locations (can’t really call them parks) are situated on opposite sides of Riga, run by fanatics, and frequented mostly by insiders. Those who know, know.
Some skaters never visit both spots, claiming one is better than the other. In reality, Gtiim and Isolator share a crucial similarity: they have nothing to skate, yet have everything you need. They are perfect as long as your standards are low and their sketchiness is what makes them so appealing. Enjoy two vids below.
