Mark Voronenko Wallie North / Shot by Nauris Dollins

Viss Safe – our upcoming video has been announced in May and the premiere is coming in June. The first trailer is out, and if you still haven’t seen it, check it out. The cast of the film has not yet been disclosed, but it is probably obvious if you follow the local skate scene. We can say that Mark, the walling construction worker above, will have a section in the video. The video is at the editing stage at the moment, but it looks like it will be close to 40 minutes in length. So yeah, a lot of to see. We also plan more premieres, definitely want to hit Liepaja, Vilnius and maybe Tallinn. We’ll see. read more

“Next year!” NOVEMBER 2018 LINKS

November is the month of transition into winter. In the beginning of the month we were still skating outside, and now it is so cold that even the Tunnel™is a bit extreme. Our November report, which you can watch above, shows this transition pretty well: last LNB sessions with an unfinished line left for next year, Fricis skating in Stockholm’s parking lots and subways, and Riga heads skating G-Tiim indoor while it is snowing outside. The odd one out here is Pavel with a line from Barcelona, fucker skates in a T-Shirt and is completely indifferent to our meteorological struggles. Well good for him. read more

October 2018 LINKS

Here is a photo of Marcis Ruiķis, Riga skate scene OG, doing a bs smith on a miniramp that he and his friends built somewhere in the woods of Latvia. This miniramp, a blue double-sided wave with a rusty unwaxed pipe serving as  coping, is a manifest to friendship, good times and some more good times. After selflessly building it for a few weekends, Marcis finally went there for a session. He was going there with a mission: to skate and destroy his own creation. And he did (as shown on the photo). Although he probably didn’t grind much, the mission was accomplished and this, what must have been a fun session, will vaguely remain in his memory for the rest of his life. read more
